The section presents the theoretical and practical findings of research projects in the didactics of mathematics.
Head of the Mathematics Teaching and Education Centre at the Institute of Mathematics
She graduated as a Mathematics, Physics and Descriptive Geometry Teacher. She received PhD in 1991 in the field of Mathematics and Computational Science. Her research involves discrete geometry, mathematics didactics and the applications of computer programs in education. She is an instructor of the doctoral program of Mathematics and Computational Science at the University of Debrecen moreover, she supervises several thesises. Her teaching and research activities are internationally acknowledged. She supports the education of Mathematics in native language for transborder Hungarians. She teaches in Salzburg where she also organizes seminars for PhD students. She takes part at interdisciplinary research projects, Austrian-Hungarian conferences on geometry and didactical and educational experiments. She is a member of numerous Hungarian and international organizations.
